Ashlyn O’Halloran

Clinical Research Coordinator

Ashlyn O’Halloran is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Penn FTD Center, who joined the FTD center in August 2023. Ashlyn holds a M.A. in Psychological Research from Rutgers University-Camden, and a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science from Montclair State University. Her published master’s thesis focused on social identities influencing joint action cognition. Ashlyn’s previous experience includes being graduate research assistant and lab manager for the Action Cognition Lab at Rutgers University-Camden, a researcher for mobility rehabilitation and Traumatic Brain Injury neuropsychology at the Kessler Foundation, a research assistant in the Neuropsychopharmacology Lab and the Legal Decision Making Lab at Montclair State University, a neurofeedback technician, and as a Behavioral Technician for young children on the ASD spectrum. Ashlyn is primarily interested in psychology, neuroscience, cognition, and behavior. She excited about researching neurodegenerative diseases for patients with frontotemporal lobar degeneration. She plans to work towards her doctoral degree in psychology. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, concerts, hiking, and crocheting.
