Briar Nowling, PhD

Briar joined the FTD Center as a postdoctoral fellow after completing their PhD in Neuroscience at Medical University of South Carolina. Completing a dissertation focused on identifying brain network markers of preclinical dementia risk, they now leverage neuroimaging to map differences in neuroanatomy across atypical forms of amnestic and non-amnestic Alzheimer’s.
