Ibrahima Diallo

Ibrahima graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S in biomedical science. Before joining the FTD Center, he interned at the Penn Memory Center during the summer of 2024, where he was matched with Dr. Irwin’s lab. He later continued in the lab during his senior year, working as a part-time research technician. Prior to joining Penn, Ibrahima conducted research in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Saint Joseph’s University, where he worked on synthesizing small organic molecules hypothesized to bind to the NMDA receptor and probe neurodegeneration. In his free time, Ibrahima enjoys going on long walks, playing video games, and plane spotting. A fun fact about him is that he is fluent in French.
