What is your role at the Penn FTD Center and how long have you been working at the center?

I joined the Penn FTD Center as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) on the Observational Team in June of this summer! In this role, I coordinate patient recruitment and research activities for our observational studies: UNICORN and DLBC. 

How do you hope to use this work in future opportunities?

Working as a CRC has given me the opportunity to experience how patient care and clinical research complement one another. Patient experiences help guide research questions, while research findings help improve how patients are diagnosed, treated, and cared for. I hope to build on the experiences and skills I've gained as I pursue a future career in medicine.

What is your favorite thing to do in Philly?

My favorite thing to do in Philly is to explore all of it! Whether that means trying a new restaurant or coffee shop, walking along the Schuylkill River at sunset, or discovering a new neighborhood, I love experiencing everything the city has to offer.
